Lunch Launch at Eternity Event Venue

Preparations begin, and the excitement in the air is tangible as the day of the official launch has finally arrived. The guest list has been carefully curated – a blend of event planners, retreat organisers, corporates for “Boardroom to the Beach”, bespoke travel agents and of course a few influencers thrown in. 

A menu with around 12 dishes is designed by Chef Cobus of Grounded and we decide to pair with wines from Babylonstoren and have a gin bar from Nano Batches serving welcome cocktails.

Tables are laid with extra care;  sunshine yellow sunflowers are put into glass vases taking centre stage, adding their brightness to the room in stark contrast to the charcoal walls. The glimmer of the gold candle holders pick up the gold finishes in the room.  The aroma of the 9 hour slow roasting lamb fills the air, hinting at the delights to come.

The sea is turquoise and the cloudless sky is a deep blue making the dunes appear even whiter than they are –  and soulful music fills the room, setting the stage perfectly.

The team is in place and ready. Denise paces up and down with nervous excited energy, practicing her welcome talk yet again. Tinashe checks the table, moving a glass an inch to the right – all must be perfect. 

Guests begin to arrive and we love watching their faces as they enter the room – the surprise, the delight and WOW that this place elicits from them.  This warms our hearts!  

Canapes are served with a variety of delicious Gin Cocktails prepared with such passion by Neil.  Denise welcomes the guests as they settled in. Eyes widen as dish after dish are set on the long tables – family style. Pass and share.  Such decadent abundance – the colours, the flavours, the contrasts!  Chatter fills the air as the wines are enjoyed.  What a feast!  Chef Cobus and his team absolutely knocked the lights out! 

And so Eternity is launched, officially.  

For those of you who missed this, we are ready to welcome you to a private site inspection. Just to recap, the venue can host up to 50 comfortably for bespoke weddings and special occasions.  We also host corporate breakaways and wellness retreats for groups of all sizes, as we tailor the room to suit the amount of people.  We have Thyme & Tide right next door which has 7 en suite rooms, and then have access to all the surrounding accommodation to add in more rooms as required. 

We take our venue seriously – we take your project seriously. With deep care.  We understand how important this is to you, and that you need to be able to trust us.  And you can.  The venue is serviced and we can provide superb catering.  We take care of your every need – all you need to do is rock up.
